It wasn't really all that shitty outside of 2005 anyway the last 4 years compared to the rest of the league. Almost every division has 2 good teams and 2 bad teams. The AFC East has just had more parity between the 3 other teams. The Jets have made the playoffs (with a win tomorrow over OAK) 2 of those 4 years. The 2 years the Jets didn't the Bills or Phins have been better than .500. It's not like they beat up on sub-.500 teams like the Panthers in '03.

In any case, that doesn't really hold much wait anyway because the Patriots consistently have had one of the hardest schedules in the NFL outside the division (obviously since they have been so succesful and the NFL shedule is weighted based on previous year) and have fared very well in that as well.

They WERE the closest thing to a football dynasty I think we'll ever see in the pros at this point...

Yeah, what about BCU? This thread isn't about that but at the introduction to the ACC Swofford called Boston College BCU instead of BC and it pissed off their fans. Then this year they were listed as BCU in the Meineke Bowl. There is nothing that whiny Beagles fans hate more than to be called a University instead of a college...
