Engineering Technician needed for an engineering company located on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC. Primary responsibilities include: performing CAD drafting, boring layout, and geophysical surveys; coordinating utility clearance; and performing other related field activities. Daily communication is required with clients, other professionals/technicians, and office personnel. Hours are 8:00-5:00, with occasional overtime as needed. Salary: $12-15/hour, DOE.

The ideal candidate will have completed a minimum of a couple years in a technical degree program with 1-3 years experience in CAD drafting. Experience using or knowledge of GPS a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Willing to train on boring layout and other field activities.

Company specializes in Geotechnical, Environmental, and Facilities Engineering, and is ranked in the top 100 of ENR Top 500 Firms.
