Thinking this might be my next mmo fix, any opinions? Have they started Beta yet?

ugh just joined up in the open beta and well its pretty awful sofar, slow graphics especially considering they aren't that great, laggy and buggy (I know its beta but it doesn't look like its anywhere close to what it should be for an end of January release)

I was really hoping for a decent alternative to wow but its sad nothing in this mmo generation is even in the same league

and its not like I was expecting for something to beat WoW, I just wanted something to be solid enough to play for a couple months and give me a different feel from WoW

Yea, I can't even stand this game for more than 30 seconds at a time. Even with all the vid options turned all the way down it runs like I'm trying to play doom 3 on a 386 and a 2400bps modem

Is anyone playing this? I got in after beta and it runs fine on my machine with highest graphics settings. I probably average 30 fps.
