Charlotte School of Law 1211 E. Morehead St. Charlotte, NC 28204
I received a letter regarding attending law school at this place. Free trip to Charlotte, open house weekend, and a Merit Scholarship included. Anybody know anything about this school or have any friends attending? I am having trouble finding real information about it on the web. Thanks for your help in advance.
What kind of school is it? What university is it affiliated with?

^^^It has to be in operation for two years before it can be ABA approved. Sometime in fall an ABA site team will be sent down to check the school out, then the following June it can get provisional accredidation.
Just because it isn't ABA approved now doesn't mean it won't be. If you're interested, go check it out. Talk to the professors and the faculty and see how you feel about it. 1/1/2007 1:34:12 PM |

It's a for-profit institution, run by the same folks who run florida coastal. I've heard it's popular with career-switchers down in Charlotte, particularly for it's part-time program. 1/1/2007 10:33:05 PM |

this email?
Seasons Greetings from Charlotte, North Carolina. My name is Victoria Carter and I am the Dean of Admissions at Charlotte School of Law. A couple of days ago I sent you an email offering you a free trip to Charlotte to visit our school and meet us. I am getting in touch now to share additional exciting news with you!
I was looking through a stack of LSAC files this morning and yours jumped out at me. Congratulations on scoring *** on your average LSAT and for your *.** GPA. Anthony, did you know that your great numbers qualify you for a very generous scholarship to study at CharlotteLaw? They do, and I am pleased to offer you a $10,800 merit scholarship.
Why don't you take a moment now and give me a call so we can chat? I am ready to reserve your seat in our next entering class. You can also reply to this email if that's easier.
I look forward to talking with you over the next couple of days. 2007 is going to be your year!
Regards, Victoria Taylor Carter, Esq. Dean of Admissions Charlotte School of Law
