Ok so I was just using my laptop for AIM and all of a sudden all my desktop icons dissapeared. Anyways I got them all back by right-clicking on the desktop and choosing "show icons" but now the icon text no longer is on the wallpaper, but is in a box with the desktop background color. Any of what I am saying making sense? Went to system and visual properties and turned them on and off and still nothing. Still have big gray rectangles around my icon text and I want to be clear! Oh and I cant use system restore either because it says it cant do it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
