Im looking a good RTS game to get into before school starts back.
I have beat Warcraft 1-3 + frozen throne and starcraft + Xpac. I have beat Age of empires and Im not really into that Medival total war game.
I have also beat blizkrieg 1 and 2, along with Total Annihilation.
and Warhammer:3000 + Xpac.
anything else left to play? 1/5/2007 5:31:11 PM |

The original Stronghold was pretty good. It was built around castle raiding. It had several problems, though. With enough defenses, the opposition could do nothing against your castle. Also, it always irked me that buildings and units got created immediately (and units always came from the center of town).
Still, it was a very fun game and revolved around just keeping your king alive. You could move him anywhere that you wanted, so defensive situations could be fun. 1/5/2007 5:38:00 PM |

Sounds like you've got most of the good stuff covered, except for Company of Heroes.
Check that one out definitely...it doesn't rival Starcraft...but what does? 1/8/2007 12:09:44 PM |

$30 well spent would be on the Command and Conquer: The First Decade pack that is out now. Quoting IGN, Quote : | "Twelve different COMMAND & CONQUER games are included in THE FIRST DECADE package, including the original game, RED ALERT, TIBERIAN SUN, RENEGADE (a first-person shooter set in the C&C universe), RED ALERT 2, YURI'S REVENGE, C&C GENERALS, ZERO HOUR, and more. All have been updated to run on Windows XP. " |
Except for Renegade, all of these games are excellent real time strategy games and if I didn't already have half of them individually I would definitely have picked that up.1/8/2007 1:14:57 PM |

The joy of these games does not lie in single player mode.1/8/2007 9:39:48 PM |

Oh, I also thought that the Battle for Middle Earth 2 was pretty decent. That's a top 5 RTS of mine in recent years. 1/9/2007 9:49:20 AM |
