ok, so this really is more of a PS2 problem, but when I first got the game almost 2 years aga, i played it all the time, got pretty far, and then one day i turned on my playstation and it said that my game data was corrupted. i was pissed, but got over it. got a new memory card not too long ago and decided to start over, i love the game anyway. got about 25% complete so far, and i just turned on my PS2 and the same message..game data is corrupted. WTF? is there anything I can do? Other games play fine, and it's reading the disc. it's not dusty, and hasn't been touched except for the power button. i switched the cards around and nothing. i have GT4 data on both cards and it says the same thing for both. I'm not starting over this time. Sony will be getting a call.

I'm guessing your PS2 is having some problem writing to your memory cards. Does it do that with any other games?

the first one i had was, and the new one i bought wasn't. can't remeber the name. i got the same message with both. might be the PS2 causing the problems.
