I actually got the whole pre-release dvd off newsgroups. Seems like a straight image rip and it plays perfectly.

My only problem so far is that I don't buy Palmer II as president. Aside from the fact that I think he looks completely unpresidiential, he doesn't act right for the part, either.

Otherwise, I am quite pleased with the first four episodes.

i'm sure most of us just watched all 4 episodes straight through in one sitting.

but that's how you miss out on the beauty behind 24. you need to give yourself time to let the episode sink in. you need the commercial breaks so you're on your knees in front of your tv, begging for it to get back to the show so you can see what happens.

but seriously, when i was watching season 2-3 for the first time, i watched many episodes in one sitting, and whenever i try to think back, it's all a blur.
