Does anyone know anything about the apartment complexes outside of Raleigh in Johnston County? I start my new job in about a week and a half and would like to start looking into single bedroom apartments that won't break my bank and that are decent.

I have went around to a few that are near Campbell but most are not single bedroom...I'd prefer to find something in Benson.. Anyone from there? Live there currently? Please help if you can.

Also, what's normal to pay for a one bedroom after utilities?

my aunt actually has a one bedroom apt attached to her house in lillington, dont know if you would be interested in that, she also is a realtor, i will get her # and hit u up with it cassie.

go to coats, that just 6 min for benson, and they alway have apt for rent

Coats will be your best bet since it is closer to Campbell

i wouldnt rent in Benson...i went to highschool in Benson and i can not think of one place i would feel comfy relaying to you

i like lillington / Raven Rock State Park is out there

yeah, try to stay in lillington

raven rock is worth it
if worse came to worse you could do fuquay or angier


I can't think of any good apartments near Benson ( I have a farm there)

Thanks John and all others who have helped with advice. I would LOOVEEE to stay in Lillington but there are not many one bedrooms for rent that I have found. Granted, I'm not so sure how to look for them since there are hardly any listings online and since I cannot get to Lillington before it gets dark....apartment hunting in the dark SUCKS.

Also, the ones that I have found are either full or not pet friendly. I am desperate to find a place asap to get into so I can be settled for my new job.

The advice is so appreciated

Ahttp://www....Lillington!!! My hometown...born and raised!! Lillington is a very nice place to live. There are some apts my friends used to stay at over by Campbell Univ., but I couldn't tell you the name of them. I will definitely get some details for you and let you know.


Fuquay (although a lil' further) is not bad. It's got tons of nice houses and things (VERY NICE AREA) so you know it's a good location too.


I'd try to stay away from Benson and Coats....what is there to do there?!?!?!? NOTHING. LOL Lillington is where it's at though. Hit me up on here and I'll try to get you some more details.

on 401 outside of fuquay (on the lillington side) their are some new apartments as soon as you turn on wagstaff road
