on a car, sure. not taking that chance on a bike. especially after what i've been through the past 1.5 years on them.

if its done right, its perfectly safe, but i dont know of many places around here that do it anymore, my general rule of thumb is, if the tire is more than half worn, its not worth patching if it gets a hole

my current qualifier has a plug in it that i put in myself. the tire is just going bald and i need to replace it. The new tire im picking up has 500 miles on it and had a stable or something in it and the guy took it off. a patch from the inside will work on it just fine. i said none of this "are u dumb it's not safe bs".

just make sure you get it rebalanced, the patch will throw it off noticibly

when i get it patched from the inside, the tire will be off anyway. and i will have the shop re balance the rim for me.
