so i replaced the power supply on my pc. the guy at best buy said it is the correct one for my pc. now when i turn it on i get a long beeping code of some kind. i am almost positive everything is connected right. i get no video, just the long beeping code. any suggestions?
been searching on google but so far no luck.

now its not beeping at all at first, but after its been on for a few mins or so it starts the long beeping tones, oh and no video either .....now aint this a bag of shit.......i know someone out there can help....

Find the manual for your motherboard.... it will explain the beep codes.

We need more specifics on what exactly the beep codes sound like. Whether they are long, short, etc. Fair warning though, you just bought a new power supply ... continuing to turn on / off the computer could be harmful. I'd suggest doing some research on the issue first before you do indeed blow it up.

everything is working great now, added some new memory as well and running smooth as a babies ass.
