the timing chain didnt rattle. just the valves. it's known as "yamaha valve tick" my r6 and damn fzr did it as well. it's no biggie.

shit did run like a champ at 35k

I had that too. Took the valve cover off and the valves didn't need adjustment. So I put a new 30 dollar timing tensioner on and the noise went away.

yeah i ended up gettin that unit off craigslist. had to rideit ho home with no frontbrakes. it got some rush but all of it cosmetic. fixed the brakes so far, put on a new peg went ridin for lil bit. this thig is way angry tho,scares the fuck outta me and i didnt even get past 6 grand in anything but first gear yet
