... my checking account statement- I returned a book yesterday, and I need to buy another one, but I will not have enough money to do that until the money is put back in my account (and no, i couldn't have bought it there, cause they didnt have what I needed). depends on your bank: at first citizens, any credit made to my acount before 5:00 on a business day will show up on my account the following business day usually by 9:30 a.m. but all banks are different... 1/19/2007 11:37:15 PM |

Stores do not always make the credit right then and there. Some route it through their returns department or group them together into once or twice a week statements.
Most big chains like target group them together into submissions at 10pm eastern.
