I have a Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe card that I am trying to get working with Windows Media Center edition. Anyone on here got this to work at all? I can't get MCE to recognize either the TV or FM tuner of the card. I have updated MCE with Rollup 2 and have updated mpeg2 decorders (powerdvd 7 and mainconcept). I scoured online (probably poorly) and didn't get any help. So I figured I would hit you guys up. Any suggestions?

did it not come with its own "media center" that allows you to watch tv? If not, i would find one other than MCE.

MCE sucks you might as well go ahead and un-install it.

The media center of Windows XP MCE only works with a select few TV tuners with onboard encoders. As I've never heard of your card, and I've also seen the list of compatible tuners (which is really very short), I'd venture to guess your card isn't supported. Your card probably came with software that will allow you to watch or record TV. That software will probably run under MCE. But as for actually using them in the media center, the cards that seem to have the fewest problems are the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 MCE (1 tuner) and PVR 500 MCE (2 tuners+FM).

If your card is suported by media center (or the manufacturer claims it is), your best bet is to contact them.
