my theory is that for the Duke game, K usually handles his own players' fouls and they probably figured it would look bad for him to walk up to the scorer's table and then mcroberts' fouls on the board magically drop from 4 to 1.

Then they figure Roy will want to do the same thing, so they leave it off for uva so it doesnt look TOO suspicious.

what?

that makes absolutely no sense

you people whine too fucking much

why do gary and tony refer to the rbc center as the 'home of the pack' and never by name?

i dont understand that

and I dont get the stats thing as well unless its too hard to mess with or someone gets it wrong or perhaps the person who did it no longer is there.

there is no way you could think i was being serious

wow

but for real, does anyone know why they dont, just curious?

it is nice to be able to look up and see how many fouls someone has.

Maybe they've stopped doing that as not to shame us since turnovers and missed free throws seem to surpass points, rebounds and assists.

could be because sid is pissed off with our lack of defense? Takes away the points so they can't look up and say "i got 15, im doin ok"......

if we keep scoiring 19 points a half there will be no need to see the players invididual stats. they should still be up there. i didn't know untill after the game that 2 of VA's players scored 25+ last night.

how could you not have figured that out for yourself after watching Reynolds hit 1092347091732 threes in a row? If you couldn't tell that Singletary and Reynolds seemed to score all their points then you weren't watching the game.

Yeah I was peeved that no stats were shown too.

I wanted them up there so that I could better express how shitty we were shooting and how well Reynolds/Singletary were shooting to my not-so-basketball-persceptive friends....

Plus Im a stats nerd, I just like seeing em...

^^ In fairness to simonn and hershculez, it was a boring game as indicated by the 19-26 halftime score. With that kind of score we should be able to keep stats on our fingers.

Hell our own team didn't seem to notice that Reynolds and Singeltary were busting 3s left and right since they all gave em free reign on the perimeter. Maybe if they woulda posted those stats our boys would have gotten the hint that perhaps they should lock down the perimeter. But then again, they probably woulda seen their points and gotten excited, forgetting that we were LOSING AGAIN!

yeah, i don't know wtf the deal is. they got hot for a few minutes and were actually playing good . . . then they fell asleep again. And Ben can't finish if his life depended on it.

I mainly look at the stats to see how man fouls everyone has.

^ Yeah but we don't really play hardcore defense so no one really gets into foul trouble ya know. I mean I've always been taught that if you don't get at least a handful of fouls you aren't playing tough enough. The fouls we do get are stupid fouls as a result of mental breakdown... Not because we're playing tough D. I remember at one point last night VA had almost 10 fouls and we had less than 5. And let's not get into the fact that we couldn't capitalize on free throws and take advantage of that. In earlier games against Div II teams the only way we even stayed alive and won was because of the success on the free throw line. I'm ranting...

i think there must have been a technical problem because there weren't stats shown for the duke game either, which sucks because it is a professional sports arena, you would think that they would have something as simple as the stats display under control

the arena in raleigh thing has been going for awhile on the radio

after the first few games of the season

obviously something happened on the business side to piss one or the other off

ooh and heres your answer per Pete Solo (that was like a 10 minute response)

We have been having interface troubles and we thought that we had found the soultion and it didn't work for Virginia. We are working on it now and hope to have it fully functional for Carolina

Subject: Stats @ NC State Games

Any reason for no stats being available on the matrix board in the last two season games?
