The Ram Roast is being held next Thursday, Feb. 1st from 8pm-7am in front of the Free Expression Tunnel on the Turlington & Alexander side. All you have to do is stay for one 3 hour shift to receive a ticket to the UNC vs. NCSU basketball game. The tickets are in section 113 (lower level). The shifts for the Ram Roast are 10pm-1am, 1am-4am, and 4am-7am. There will be a pep rally with several basketball players, the band, and free food from 8pm-10pm. Come out around 8pm to sign up for a shift because they will be capped at around 40 students. The point of this event to protect our tunnel from being painted Carolina blue. i also realized that they could probably very easily paint one of our other two tunnels while we all "protect" the free expression. hmm.

They provide you with shotguns and leave it up to you make the judgment on their use.

For real, this is a decent idea though I never really gave a fuck if the UNC kids wanted to waste a prime drinking night on gaying up our tunnel when I was in school..

Protect:to defend or guard from attack, invasion, loss, annoyance, insult, etc.

Do like some kids a few years ago and fill up some water balloons with red paint and throw them at any UNC fans that try to paint the tunnel. Also find rednecks with paintball guns and buy a bunch of red paint balls to shoot at them. Rednecks are usually more skilled at shooting guns than others and could possibly hit them before they come within 100 feet of the tunnel. Plus with them being red paint balls it'd be funny to see some of them freakout like they were shot.

yep, we went out there back in 2001 (gosh has it been that long?). There were a ton of wolfwebbers out there, most of them meeting each other for the first time. It was a great time. We had water balloons, but they got taken away from us by the Cops. The cops were REALLY cool with us though, and let us stay there all night so long as we promised to call them before we started beating their asses.

Carolina kids never showed up.

this is hilarious, I actually protected the tunnel with a bunch of other guys one year, there's a TWW classic picture of us with like hockey sticks and the such and I think it says WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE! It was fun, we took turns going to Shanghai Express and it wasn't that cold. Good times.

Well if they paint the Tunnel Friday night that would be pretty pointless and a waste of time. Not that many students would be able to see it until class on Monday so we would have all weekend to repaint it red. The point of painting in on Thursday night is that students see it all day Friday when they go to class.
