The following poll that was released yesterday shows her at 36% approval, 36% disapproval. Also says that Easley is ahead 44-41 even though he has said he wont run.

I think that if they can find someone to be crowned she wont run again. If the NC GOP keeps fighting each other I think she runs again, but will have a very tough, very close race.

I find that pretty amusing. Especially when you consider she was supposed to carry on the "legacy" of Jesse Helms.

The only thing I know Dole has done since being in office was she ran the National Republican Senatorial Committee for the 2006 elections. Needless to say, she didn't do too good a job (with the NRSC).
