anyone heard what they are payin for scrap steel per lb recently?

nope. it was pretty good a couple months ago, but i think it's gone down some since. tt&e usually has the best rate around here in my experience, give them a call.

steel is still shitty. Aluminum is decent. Copper is Hot

i know like alloy rims are .65/lb... i forked over 4 15" alloy rims and got almost fifty bucks.

last week, steel was 6.5 cents per pound.
aluminum cans were 50 cents per pound.
aluminum wheels were 68 cents per pound.
chrome wheels were 1.25 per pound.

yeah, there's at least 200-300lbs. worth of stuff probably. few lbs. of aluminum trim also. i had offered it to 9one9 when he was looking for scrap metal, but he never got it.

TT&E is located on garner Rd in Garner. Just take South saunders st out of raleigh. take a left on tryon rd and then take a right on garner rd. It will be about a mile down on the right.
Or take gorman st over to US 70 Highway and get on tryon that way.
