Now for highly demanded ask Dr. Keith thread, to avoid excessive pm's and to prevent similar questions, I have created this thread.

Symptoms, trouble codes, procedures, specifications.

Ask away and I will belch out a wealth of information, correct answers require some type of compensation though, and Dr. Dan may fill in for me when I'm out of the office.

I don't know what crack you've been smoking. That motherfucker is a QUACK.

BTW, I should have thought of this thread earlier. It shall be BTTTed with a quickness if it ever disappears.

I'm not sure what year, make, model it is, but there's a dismantled moped in the living room where the armchair used to be... what do you know about that?

not much to it, take out the motor, take off the gearcase cover, pop out the big plastic gear, rotate it and stick it back in so that the little gear doesnt hit the screwed up teeth

nah, i won't need to get rid of it until:

1.) i move back to my house

2.) can afford a big ass new plasma

unitl then it can just sit in my living room and look pretty. or use it to listen to tv/movies.

at one point in my poor college days, i had one tv that had sound but no picture, and another that had picture but no sound. used a splitter ftw. it was the hot setup, haha.

Why is my 1997 Pathfinder V6 pinging? I have to run mid-grade gas in it all the time now so it won't ping. I have an ODB reader and it says everything checks out fine. Any ideas? It did show an EVAP fault 2 months ago but I think that was due to a broken muffler leaking hot exhause on the EVAP system. It hasn't been back since I fixed that.

i would have to say since its a shitty ten year old pathfinder that its probably just gonna keep doing that. run the best gas you can to eliminate the problem, and be glad thats all thats wrong with it. now some folks might try to tell you some longwinded story about seafoam and combustion chamber deposits blah blah blah. Start running hi-test Shell and dont look a gift horse in the mouth.
