i've got two guitars
guitar 1, i love, but the pickups suck guitar 2, i love the bridge pickup (upgraded), i also have the factory bridge pickup
my dilema is that I want to put the upgraded pickup in guitar 1, put the stock pickup back in guitar 2 and sell guitar 2, but I'm not sure how much it would cost to switch them, so any advice/estimated price to switch them would be appreciated. i'm guessing it would be more than its worth, but i'm curious 2/1/2007 5:18:04 PM |

do it yourself. it costs two sets of strings and a minimal amount of solder and wire. 2/1/2007 5:39:10 PM |

yeah, definitely do it yourself, then. It'll be worth it for the experience as well. Re-wiring guitars can lead to some fun projects. 2/1/2007 9:31:42 PM |

well it depends on the guitars, however if they aren't super nice do it yourself the wiring of guitars isn't that hard 2/1/2007 9:47:30 PM |

yeah, and it depends on whether it's a rear-entry sort of situation, because that might be more difficult. I did all my shit on two strats, so that was pretty much as easy as it gets. 2/2/2007 1:36:44 AM |
