I just learned i might be able to get my hands on a used miller gas-powered mig/tig/stick welder with generator this summer (im thinking its either a Legend or Trailblazer model... or maybe an older equivalent.. not sure) which gave me the idea to make a portable workstation complete with air compressor, oxy-acetylene torch, etc.

Have any of you guys fabbed up something like this? pros/cons/preferences on this type of setup?

thats sounds exactly like a trailer that was stolen from the ncsu facilities fabrication shop last year

i don't really see the point of it unless you do welding/metal work for a living.

true. maybe its just best to throw the shit on my 6x12 trailer when i need to transport.
