i owe the kid another $500 so if the guy rolled up in his truck and asked for proof of ownership i wouldnt have it unless the owner was standing next to me

and hes at work with kourosh

i've never had AAA ask for ownership.

occasionally they'll make sure a tag is on the vehicle, but that's it.

the AAA lady on the phone asked me if it had current tags on my truck when I locked my keys in it recently, so at the very least slap a plate on there.

AAA actually checked my brothers ID the other day... then proceeded to tell me the fastest way to get to my house. And he was right too!

I called AAA once to tow a car for me that I had just bought, it had been sitting for a few years, (wouldnt run) no carb, door wouldnt open, tires barely inflated, etc. Dude flat out refused to tow it, called it a junk vehicle. I said then how much to tow it then? Says $60. Im like fuck that I got $36 man. He said AIGHT

I used AAA to tow the Land Rover last week, threw on a current tag I had from another car and all the driver asked for was my AAA card and driver's license to verify it was my account. optmusprimer and I have done this a lot over the years but never had any real problems with it aside from that one time he already described. I even had one of my CRXs towed without half the body panels or interior and they didnt have any issues.

yep. the most they've ever done to me is look to see if it has a tag. not even check to see if it's current or matches the car. usually not even that, just drag it on and roll.

i mean, it's worth a try if you know someone with it. the worst the driver can do is say no.

the only prob with aaa is that ur car doesnt have a motor. but play it cool with ur truck tag and tell them the right rear susp is messed up. just dont mention a motor. but im sure he will tell by the car not having a shifter

and this message is also for whoever is meeting you there to help tow it, cuz i know you will forget.
