“Triangle Hip Hop is Dead?”
Town Hall Meeting/Show

The “Triangle Hip-Hop is Dead?” function was designed to repair a once strong hip-hop community. The event was organized by the newly formed umbrella company, Strength In Numbers Music (S.I.N. Music) and sponsored by the Earthworm Clothing Company. This much-needed attempt at unification will consist of a panel discussion with area promoters and figures. Following the panel will be a live show consisting of performers by each of the panelist’s respective artists.
Being that triangle is divided into Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, the event will also be divided accordingly, with representatives of each city being involved in both the panel discussion as well as the live show. “Triangle Hip Hop is Dead?” will take place Friday, February 9 in Raleigh, NC at the Berkley Café (217 W Martin Street). The panel discussion is set for 9 pm and the show starts at 11 pm. Admission is $5 before 10:30 pm and $7 after.

Goals:
• Create a strong network involving all local companies/factions
• Establish a passage for better quality music and shows for the scene as a whole
• Get the Triangle Hip Hop scene back to the innovative and productive entity that it once was
