the fan i have now is extremely loud. I want something quiet, or hell even with some form of speed adjustment. I checked newegg briefly but everything was coupled with another heatsink.

any ideas?

I use a thermalright XP-90 and a Panaflo 90mm "hydro wave" fan or something. Heard nothing but god about panaflo and have had a good experience myself. Might wanna check out their 92mm line.
