ohh and the remote works great with the xbox which has all my mp3s on it due to a "portable device"

I had one of those, for some reason it only worked about 4/5 times. There was always something that didnt get the signal somehow, which was pretty annoying

i've had one for about 2 years now, its awesome! i wouldn't mind upgrading to the 890 though for RF

I don't like the balance or the button placement. And the online software is pretty terrible.

There's HUGE room for improvement for Logitech, but they're pretty much the only one make this type of device in this price range, so we're stuck with their garbage.

It's nice, but the pricetag is pretty crazy. Can it turn down the lights?

I saw a PDA remote that did that once... I had sex with the man who owned it.

I bought the 880 and used it for about 3 days before it drove me fucking batshit crazy and I had to return it and "downgrade" to the Xbox 360 version.

Best choice I ever made in my entire life.

i love mine...i have it controlling my tv, cable box, receiver, computer, ps2, ps3 (via ps2 IR receiver), and dvd player (thou with a BR and computer, that's getting shelved)

Mine does all that as well.

Plus it has a battery life longer than 48 hours.

I used to have mine setup where when i hit "watch a movie" it turns off the lights, turns on the ceiling fan, turns on the TV, dvd player, surround sound etc etc.... you can have the logitech control pretty much any IR device like the X10's or whatever. But the reason i want the 890 is for the RF because my lights are both RF and IR and having to point your remote at the lights is lame
