Disco Rodeo blows... what a horrible place to have them play. The Lips will play the shit out of it though. Saw them at Red Rocks this past summer with Ween. Amazing.

just so people know, there are still tickets available for this. Schoolkids received about 100 more tickets last night, so they should be on sale Wednesday morning for $36. Etix guy said it is close to selling out.

At first I was positive I wanted to go. Now that I'm at the point of decision to buy a ticket I'm not so sure. $35 bones for a show at the Disco Rodeo! I really wanted an assigned seat somewhere for this type show. Pixies were good there but I swear it was 3 hours of agony having to stand in that shit hole shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of people pushing their way to the front.

I was there and everything about the show was super great. And there was nothing wrong with it being at the Disco Rodeo, so long as you were standing right up front.

in the beginning one of the security guys was trying to bust someone for having a laser pointer a few minutes later they handed out like 500 laser pointers after that I didnt see the security guy for the rest of the show
