I don't know if there is a single team in the ACC I would bet money on to make the Elite Eight at the least.

-Duke just aren't good enough for their standards.
-UNC's performance when pushed by a determined team is lacking.
-VT are good but are young, and lack of experience in the big game will hurt them come next month.
-Clemson's record and belly are fat off of cupcakes.
-Boston College...maybe in the Elite Eight.
-Virginia look like your typical "Two & Out" team.
-The rest of the conference eihter won't make it to the tourney or will get a low seed and get one upset win at best.

VT is the classic team that plays up to or down to their opponent. with the talent of dowdell, gordon, washington, and collins, there is no reason they shouldn't be at least a top 15 team. they just play stupid against bad teams.

Pretty much. Though I'd say UNC still has the best chance at being great when it's all said and done.. They are so young that they'll have games like this.. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if Va Tech was one and done in the tourney. They have a history this year of playing to their opponent. It's unexplainable some of the losses they have when you look at their wins..

bottom line, they are young, you going to lose a few games that you have the talent to win, even with a great coach. Besides Michigan obviously, has there been a team to even reach the final four with three frosh starters??? Even 2????? To ask a team as young as chapel hill to run off 6 straight in march is a lot, even with roy on the sidelines.
