if you have a high-end machine i recommend ms flight simulator and a thrustmaster hotas cougar joystick.

the new ms flight simulator is lame... graphics are not what they should be... i have a 2.8 dualcore w/ a 7900gt oc and it doesn't run that well

i think ms is suppose to be releasing a performance patch for it to make it multi-threaded. if you look at the system requirements for it any decent machine should be able to run easily.

a friend of mine told me that Flight Sim X is so large a game that it may require a RAID 0 just to improve hard drive performance.

seems a bit far fetched but a reasonable assumption.

^^ you can get nice 20-22" LCD's around 200-300 range. I got a samsung 20" lcd for 212 last summer.

WIFI means free at any hotspot. I can just sync outlook on campus, I dont need it online fulltime.

GPS systems are incredibly useful.
Phones are very useful.
Large monitors are indispensible.

WTF do you need a wireless digital picture frame for?!
