Anyone ever shipped tires before? I know you can send them through any regular shipper, but I cant find on UPS website how to do it properly. They want to charge me like its a box and I know there is a different rate for shipping tires. 2/20/2007 5:00:21 PM |

i know when you order them from somewhere like tirerack, they bundle 2 together.
dunno if the pricing is the same as a box or if there is a different rate. 2/20/2007 5:21:47 PM |

if they are car tires, use lots of packing tape and tape two together. just say own packaging and enter dimesions and weight. 2/20/2007 5:49:17 PM |

i've found that for big, heavy things like wheels (and i guess tires), fedex ground is the cheapest 2/21/2007 12:02:14 AM |
