^my grand marquis (98) needs an intake manifold installed. already bought the parts, just need someone to install it. if there's anyone that is up to the task, cash is offered. thanks for any help, and blah to the flames.

His manifold is plastic. It's a 4.6 and it's cracked at the thermostat housing.

If I had time, I'd do it. But hell, I don't even live in Raleigh anymore.

does the car run? Ill do it for less than any shop quotes you but youll have to drive it to my house.

The plastic water crossover probably cracked right behind the alternator. Make sure you get the newer manifold with the aluminum crossover installed if you plan on keeping the car.

Took me damn near a week every night after work to replace the cracked intake plenum on the 300ZX. Those fuel lines had welded in place over the years especially on the back of the engine against the firewall. I can only imagine a crown vic would be easier.
