Ok so this computer was my first college computer.
Its got Windows ME on it so it isn't the best...also it is not properly functioning...as in it often doesn't turn on.
All that aside, I am sure it can be fixed, or used for parts...
First decent offer... i'm thinking $50 2/22/2007 9:36:54 AM |

I don't know a lot about computers, which is part of the reason I have switched to a MacBook (much less problematic) but i'll try to give all the info I can...
It originally came with windows ME but it now has XP on it. THe problem is...it will turn on but I can't log in for some reason...I don't know why.
It turns on but usually takes about 2-3 minutes to fully sign on
I got it in 2001.
It is a PCG-FX240

It is a great deal for all the parts that you can get out of it. Plus if you know anything in depth about PC's it should be easily fixed and upgraded...but thats your perogative 2/22/2007 5:28:04 PM |

^^^ Sony's are not easily fixed or upgraded. This laptop is not worth $100 in it's condition. The problem could be a bad motherboard, which makes the laptop completely worthless.
You should probably take the $60 and run! 2/22/2007 7:00:55 PM |
