the jackpot is not stoked about kings shutting down. it's not like a whole shit ton of people go to kings just to drink. they go there for shows and other events, and that includes jackpot employees. the jp is as bummed as everyone else.

I think the important thing to understand here is that Kings is not being torn down so that they can build a parking lot on that space. It's being torn down so that the parking lot in the space next to it can be more easily constructed.

That's where the suckiness of the whole ordeal comes into play.

Kulture's a nice little place... but it really doesn't have the room for a stage back there (at least not a decently sized one)...
