What is the overall record for Sidney Lowe?

It should be 0-0 since it's his first year, but on the original x-box version it is 22-10. It looks like they attributed Herb Sendek's last season record to Sidney Lowe. I've also never heard the announcers say Sidney's name.

Also - any tips for hitting threes in this game. I can only hit about 25% with my best shooters.

for 3 pointers work on your timing and being open and shooting in rhythm

i cant recall about Sid's record...but I started one game with Arizona State is the home team to see Herb in the locker room lol

^Ha. I've gone to practice mode where you are the only player on the court with a 99 rated 3 point shooter and only made about one of five. I just suck I suppose.

well in fairness i have played a shitload of bball games

one thing you can try to get your timing better is go to the game sliders and turn your 3 point shooting up to like 80% or something really high...practice a bunch of 3's...hopefully you can tell the difference in your release timing and how it effects the shot, ie made shot (swish), made shot (rim), missed shot

also one of the things to keep in mind is that pretty much each player has a different motion and timing, so what works well for one player might not work for another

They don't. I'm pretty sure that they didn't record any new audio for this year's version. They just used the ones they had from last year.

I don't know about your problem with 3s...if anything, I think they're easier this year. I could nail transition 3s even with my shitty first team in my closed dynasty.

In 2k6 I edited Sendek to be Sidney Lowe. They would say his name because both names were in the name bank. I guess I could try to edit Lowe and reassign him his own name to see if that works.

^^Yeah, if I bump up the sliders, even just a little, I hit every three - even shots that are very close to being half court shots. I just start having problems when I put it back to 50 - oh well. I'll probably just end up putting it at 60 or so.

My tendencies in my profile say I'm slightly late +60% of the time. I've tried adjusting.

Haven't played a bball game since '03 though, so maybe I just need to get back into it.

I don't think editing will work, because I named a coach "Sidney Lowe" in my legacy and they still wouldn't say it.
