I'm not expecting much. Nothing in the trailer made me even chuckle. It's really hard for me to watch the Simpsons digitally animated, it just doesn't look right. Thoughts?

They've been coloring the show digitally for years and it just looks bad.

I thought they were coming out with a movie to put the final nail in the coffin, not to cash in on a popular series. You know, kind of like Transformers the Movie. I might watch this just to see if Homer dies.

Transformers: The Movie was just made to kill off the toys that weren't in the '86 line. There are 65 episodes before the movie and 33 episodes after it.

i hadn't watched the simpsons in a couple seasons, but i tried last sunday. i got 5 minutes into it and had to change the channel. i didn't just change the channel, i jammed the fuck out of the previous channel button and threw that shit to the floor. fucking simpsons.

but if the movie gets over a 50% on rottentomatoes i'll probably go see it.

This movie is really, really funny. As someone who hasn't watched the show in four years and not impressed at all that "Spiderpig" crap, I was really surprised. The jokes were non-stop and few of them fall flat.
