Awesome, Awesome news. Everyone kepy saying that we needed a true 1, and now we have it.
And 2 young backup PGs with a little experience also.

I think Javi was averaging only 13.8 ppg, 4.3 ast, and 5.2 steals his junior year. He's improved a lot. He's been filling it up this year though. Scored 26 in a play-off game I think, and has been scoring high like that a fair amount this season. Hopefully that translates to a nice solid 10 ppg, 4 ast, and 3 steals while he's here. We don't need him to come in here and be our main scorer, though it'd be nice to have a PG that can score at will. We'll have plenty of guys that can score (McCauley, Costner, Grant, Fells, and probably Hickson and Smith). We mainly just need a pair of guards that can take care of the ball, get these guys the ball, and have a high assist to turnover ratio. 3/2/2007 2:34:27 PM |

^^^pretty much. i think this season has stressed the importance of having capable ball handlers on your team. not just our team, but look at Virginia and their success which is mainly due to Reynolds and Singletary. hopefully Degand and Gonzalez can be the reliable ball handlers that we need.

oops i fudged some of the numbers.
Quote : | "As a senior, Gonzalez led Krop to its first-ever GMAC title and is bidding to lead the team to state for the first time. As a junior, he made first-team all-county and led Krop to a 28-4 record and a district-title win over eventual state champion Norland. He scored 26 points in that game. For the season, he averaged 13.8 points, 4.4 assists and 3.6 steals and shot 52 percent from the field. As a sophomore, he played for St. Patrick's High in Elizabeth, N.J. An ultra-quick point guard, Gonzalez had a great summer for the Tropics in 2006. He has earned interest from numerous big-time colleges, including Tennessee and North Carolina State" |

Let him drive, drunk, shoot, and rebound iwithout playing point. Then we will see him put up better numbers.

Let's hope so. The long, harsh winter that packs of wolves face often times stymy their group morale and feasting. Many die as a result. They must do everything that they can to survive to the spring. They then often times flourish, killing off the old sheep and deer that live in the area. Powerful packs of wolves defend their territory from other rising packs (Nevada) proving that they are the most powerful pack of wolves in all the land. Spring is upon us, and the long, harsh winter will soon be over.

That applies to the coming season.
It still leaves us one scholarship short for the following year, assuming Grant is the only one to leave.
My guess is Bartosz transfers/gives up his scholarship, unless someone else leaves early.3/2/2007 5:06:18 PM |
