yeah, Petey and James Taylor also fall into the "durrr" category. Hell, I've even seen JT at Walnut Creek.

I never knew Thelonious Monk or Coltrane were from NC.

never knew Tori Amos, George Clinton, or Luther Vandross were homegrown, either.

I just forgot about Fred Durst (although Limp Bizkit isn't a NC band, so they still don't really count) and Doc Watson.
