if the cushions aren't covered on both sides (flippable) don't get it.
says my mom ...

if they cheaped out on fabric they'll cheap out elsewhere

honestly though hickory and highpoint... you can get some mak daddy furniture for reasonable prices.

theres this furniture place over in garner near the walmart. Don't know what its called but they had a bunch of new furniture reallllly cheap compared to every where else. If you are going down Tryon and you pass the turn to walmart and keep going straight through that big intersection, its that building with the salvation army and the barbq place

Sofas and Seats on Capital. It's way up on the left, a little before TTC. It's in a 3 store strip (all furniture stores). You pick any couch in the place, pick any upholstery, and they throw in 2 pillows and you pick the fabric for them. I got a great microfiber plush couch for $575. You can finance through them 1 year 0% interest, but if you don't pay it off in a year all the interest from that year is added on and you continue to incur the interest. It's great furniture and worth the investment.

You get EXACTLY what you pay for in furniture. If it's cheap, its going to be either shitty construction, shitty materials or both. If you buy it new at least.

Got our new furniture from rooms to go last week. It was the most competitively priced new furniture I saw anywhere and it did not look ugly. Quite happy with the purchase...

It's crap quality. I'm not just saying this because I read it somewhere or because of what people told me. I bought a living room set and another couch/ottoman combo from them, and in three years, it's clear that I'll be buying new furniture in a couple of years.

The leather is discolored in spots, and the couch has bowed in the middle. I will say that the leather is pretty strong, as my 80 lb boxer has not been able to rip it, despite his best efforts.

Like Noen said, you get what you pay for. but, if you're a college kid on a budget, none of this really matters.

my best friend bought a couch from rooms to go and the bottom of it fell out 3 weeks after they had it.

an old coworker of mine bought a bedroom suite from there and the fronts of the drawers fell off after 3 months.

family member bought a couch from there and it arrived with the back of it slit open, and they wouldn't fix it bc they said they did it on purpose to get a new couch.

even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Your mileage may vary. I'm sure other people have bought the same furniture that I bought and love it. And still others whose experience with the same products was worse than mine.

I bought a couch set from rooms to go about a year ago. It was cheap- I got a 3 and 2 person sofa for 1000. But the quality is crap. Would not recommend. Discoloration, degeneration of fabric etc...

in hickory and highpoint you can get $texas furniture with minor dings and scratches... nothing you would notice in your house. made from real wood not particle or fiber board for a reasonable price.

I have a black leather couch from there--it's only a couple of months old. Great quality, great prices, they deliver, and they service what they sell.
