what was your favorite battle scene?

Mine was when that guy's son was owning and the other soldier came up and started fighting with him. The song playing during that scene was just badass and perfectly matched what was going on in the film

prince is somewhere around 5' tall. Xerxes was about as tall about Bartosz in the film. Movie magic can only do so much.

I'd have to agree with him. Gladiator had it's flaws but but I think 300 had more. 300 got way too boring for me about half way in. It's like action action action action throw in some plot more action. Gladiator had a much more defined plot and character development. There was a build up that kept me watching. 300 was a one trick pony. It had these amazing visuals but then drowned you in them in every scene. Also, there were many instances of poor acting where I found myself laughing at serious parts of the movie. Also, did anyone notice the wheat field scene rip off from Gladiator. Okay nuff said, I'll just say this, I nodded off about 3/4 into the movie but then woke up just in time for the last 15 minutes of the film which were actually my favorite. Could have been much better.

Definitely the best "real" fighting scenes I've ever witnessed. There were no clever camera transitions/angles that hide the fact that actors/stuntment arent truely delivering blows on eachother. I could not tell the difference between the live-action characters and the CG ones. The CG quality in this movie makes Gollum look like Oscar the Grouch.

its gorgeous and exciting and dumb. a perfect movie to just sit back, watch, and be entertained without having to think.. i liked it, but if i watched it again, i'd just skip to the 3 or 4 really neat battle scenes.
