Does anyone know of a good free music player for DJs? Winamp is great for just listening but it really doesn't work well in a DJ environment. It needs to have a good (i.e. not time-based) crossfader and good volume leveling. Pitch control is not necessary but would be a plus. I'm not interested in any cracked programs or free trials.

if you're DJing you can probably buy a decent program

there are tons with DJ in the title

back in the day when i thought it was cool to be a DJ, i had PC DJ Red or something like that

It's not for me, it's for my dad, and he is determined not to spend any money. I'm just trying to find something legal.
