Rarely do I ever ask Tdub for health advise, but has anyone ever had a metallic "metal" taste in their mouth? If so, do you know what caused or how to get rid of it?

So strange

"A metallic taste in the mouth is a common complaint and can be due to a variety of causes - from medication you may be taking to dental problems. In the absence of other symptoms, it is unlikely that a metallic taste in your mouth indicates serious disease. But if you haven't had a thorough general checkup recently, I would suggest seeing your doctor to rule out any undiagnosed health problems."

I've had it before, but I just ignored it until it went away. It lasted a couple of weeks.

it can mean any number of things. I get it occasionally from dieting and not taking in enough carbohydrates to prevent ketosis.

a long time ago when i was a scientist, as a dare and to prove some worthless point, i stuck my finger in some DMSO. ever since, i get a metallic taste from certain processed consumables. Bud Light is one of them.

I'll usually get it and know a bloody nose is coming due to the dry air (or something similar).

Otherwise, cut back on the S&M play at night. Too much of that is bad for you.
