sid knows what it's like to be an nba coach of a shitty team. he wouldn't leave us for that even if it were offered.

i just think it's funny that they mentioned him.

Yeah, but I never considered that thought.

Would he stay if he was able to rebuild the program and make it to the final four?

True, and trust me, I was skeptical as hell when he was hired. We'll see how things go, but right now it feels good to be optimistic for once in a very long while.

all 5 of our starters average in double figures scoring. that hasn't happened for nc state in 30 years assuming it stays that way through the NIT

Yeah, I think there was a period last year where we had five guys averaging double figures. Ended up the season with one or two just under the 10 mark, though.

Not to be an ass, but our best player, Costner WAS a McDonald's All-American.

And all 5 starters were top 100 recruits. They aren't exactly nobodies.

if we say it enough times, lowe will not end up like sendek and amato.

although in sid's favor, he has a personality and can get the team motivated (and is an alumn), unlike sendek, and is not a blabbering moron, like amato. that's got to count for something.

yes atsur is counted, and it's finishing the season with all of them in double figures. there was probably a time last year where that was true, but they didnt stay that way by the end of the season.

It's a good thing when UNC hates your coach. They loved herbie

^^^^ Except for the fact that Lowe's product on the court is already miles ahead of 10th year Sendek's product. And he makes great in game adjustments. And his team isn't folding at the end of close games.

It's right in front of your eyes if you care to look.

^ i was (and still am) a HUGE supporter of getting rid of sendek, and i love sidney lowe. however, it's hard to deny that sendek had very similar success his first season, and amato also enjoyed early success.

It's not too late for Sidney to hang a championship banner this year. 2007 NIT Champs here we come.

With one more win Sid will have a 20-win season. If he does win the NIT, our record would be 23-15. Not too shabby for a first year coach that had only 2 players that had played significant minutes in previous seasons.

haha...ESPN showed MJ talking about the new coach search for the bobcats, and he was wearing a red jacket. Steve Levy then said, " MJ wearing Sidney Lowe's red jacket."

I love Lowe

GO PACK

sorry if old
