I just got an '03 jetta GLS, comes with a Monsoon factory stereo that perfectly than suits my audio quality needs. The one thing it lacks is a line in method. On my 95 Jetta I solved that by getting a decent headunit with an aux in, but the '03 is double din and I actually kind of like it.
What do you guys think of having a pre-amp equalizer that I have laying around installed just for the Line in port it has on the front? I'm not a big car audio guru, any thoughts before I ask the type of person who'll just want my money for installation? 3/13/2007 8:34:33 PM |

There is an aux input thread already in this section. Those comments should apply here. 3/13/2007 9:29:23 PM |

well no they don't because the person was talking about FM modulators and didn't know what an aux in jack does. I want to know specifically whether anyone would be for or against having a pre-amp equalizer installed just for the purpose of a line in port 3/13/2007 9:56:25 PM |

Look around Enfig.com You may find some answers there while going through their products. You can buy an Aux in that plugs directly into the back of the HU. 3/15/2007 5:16:38 AM |
