NBS Gym hosts "Boxing on the Block," an amateur boxing tournament featuring the 2007 North Carolina Junior Olympic Boxing Championships.

Raleigh, NC -- March 5, 2007 -- NBS Gym presents "Boxing on the Block," an amateur boxing tournament - the North Carolina Junior Olympic Boxing Championships - with food, drink, and musical entertainment. The boxing will feature many local boxers, including reigning Women's National Champion Nikki Cane of Wendell, nationally ranked #5 Theresa Scott of Raleigh, and Southeast Region Muay Thai Champion Scott Kingston.

Musical guest Grady Crumpler will provide the entertainment, Edenton Brewery will have beer, and NBS Gym will have olympic-style fencing demonstrations and Muay Thai kickboxing demonstrations.

The event begins at 4pm on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Tickets are $10, and children under 5 are free. "Boxing on the Block" takes place at 1249 Wicker Drive, Raleigh, NC. For more information, see our website at http://www.nbsgym.com.
