Hello,
I am trying to work number 7-3 on the sample test questions. I get the answer to be 0.033W and the given answer is 0.027W. I have found the Zin to be 50ohms (Rin then isn't it) because since Rload = Rcharateristic the distance doesn't matter. I get the final Zin to be 50ohms...and the Pavg to be 0.033W while the answer is 0.027W.

Tips?

---Error is that I was solving for I instead of Pavg...

On another note: 7-4, I figured you would get half of each one since they are out of phase, but I don't think that is correct...

on the last test, did he get more questions from the homework problem sets or the sample test problems?

He always gives more from sample test, usually only 1 comes from the problem sets.

i couldn't figure out 7-3 there was nothing like it in the notes. how did you solve that problem??

On 7-4, find v phasor, i phasor, then complete the problem like the example on page 11 of Notes Set 7.
