I never said it didn't. I said it didn't support the Nintendo a/v hookup.
The AV Famicom was the first system to use it, and every Nintendo system thereafter.
He just has regular composite cables, not a Nintendo a/v cable.

yeah I wish they had kept it that way... screw all these A/V cable problems the NES had it right from the start! I plugged in my old NES a few months back via the A/V cables and it looked just like I remember. Plug in the genesis with it's crappy RF adapter and it looked like crap. ^the AV Famicom looks 10 times better than the american NES (using composite video), it's pretty sad. Plus it's about 1/3 the size.
