Tickets are 16$ for the day's games (Duke at 5 pm), 11$ for students. Turnout for the first round was 25 people, shameful.

Yow is in late stage cancer, and there is a good probability that she will not be here next season. Like Everett Case, she never married and devoted her whole life to NCSU basketball.

You don't have to like women's basketball, you just have to respect someone who has coached NCSU basketball for 30+ years. I certainly haven't been a supporter of the women's team, but I can recognize the meaning of Tuesday night's game.

The women play Baylor, who apparently won the title two years ago. Like the mens team, the women have also been on a roll. It would be really sweet if they made a deep run this year -- maybe Yow's last.

I'm not going to say you're going to hell if you would rather do something else, but it would be great to have a huge turnout in what could be her last game in Raleigh. She's been great for this school.

its 11 bucks and the women are actually pretty fun to watch. They get out and RUN. I mean they cant dunk but they play pressure d and force a lot of turnovers, then score a lot in transition. Sometimes they look dumb when they get out of control but still.

Yeah 11 bucks is Nothing when all of us know we spend that on a regular weeknight of drinking...
I stayed this past Sunday after the Pack's game and watched the Baylor game, and the Bears from Baylor can Ball their ASSES off...so we really need to sale out the ENTIRE student section..no excuses, just cough up the 11 bucks, and "attempt to bring" the energy that only State fans can.

Oh and as much as I hate Baylor..their mascot was cool as shit...my buds and I were thinking, how the hell can a mascot with a head that big, tumble, and do flips like that...?
