"30. How far is the image from the lens if an object is placed 60 mm away from a diverging lens with focal length -40 cm?"

How can I draw a ray diagram for this without the height of the object?

google will help you

http://physics.bu.edu/py106/notes/Lenses.html

1/d[o] + 1/d[i] = 1/f

1/60 + 1/d[i] = 1/-40

I would still like to see how to work it out like a ray diagram
I'll probably have more luck figuring that out on the test
