I just heard about this. Apparently it's just Spiderman 2 with eight minutes of extra footage. IGN's "Double Dip" article gives a good review though.

The link pretty much spoils the new material, but basically some of the character relationships are expanded and there are some new action footage for the subway fight. Anyone picked it up?
