Any of you audiophiles messed with one yet? I know it just came out but I figured someone has actually played with it. A buddy has one installed and loves it. The only thing he doesn't like about it is it won't play DVDs while driving. He said he doesn't know of a way to bypass it yet since it has a built-in inertia? detector. He said he can disable it to make the DVDs play while driving but then the navigation feature is messed up and doesn't show his location correctly. What are the tricks to get full-functionality of this unit?

if its anything like my AVIC-D1 you just ground out one of the open spots on the harness and it disables all that junk. can't remember which one it was but it was an empty slot on the back of the harness.

Also the Z1 which is newer than the D1 has another method of doing that. You have to flash your lights or some shit to disable it everytime.
