I need someone who will be able to sit with me once a week and go over examples. I am not sure how long it might take; this is the first time I need some tutoring. Maybe 1 or 2 hours a week as min.

Have you tried contacting the statistics department? I would think they have a list of people willing to tutor. But if you are really, really in a bind I might be able to help you a little. Can you be more specific about the type of material that is being covered in your class?

I talked to the instructor who gave me a list of grad students who are interested in tutoring. I will try to contact them on Monday.
